End of December
We finished opening the presents under the tree the day after Christmas. Lucas has loved his Magformers, and he got pretty into opening by the end of the holiday.
Matisyn looks so grown up!
Matisyn is getting into legos this Christmas.
This dump truck and shapes set have been a hit with Lucas.
Emilyn loved her Rainbow Dash pony and purse.
Before Christmas we were able to find a day for the girls to all go to lunch. We met Therese, Jill, Kate and Leah. It's fun to get together with them since our moms are friends, Jill and I have been friends for years, and now our girls are friends!

We took a lot of walks with the girls riding their scooters to get their energy out at Grandmas.

Special Legos for the girls from Uncle Chunk. Matisyn got a "friends" pool set, and Emilyn got the Ninja turtle lair!
The girls with Grandma in the American Girl doll store. We had fun exploring the store for the first time. Emilyn was able to switch the doll she got from Santa to one that would work better for her, and Grandma spoiled them with a couple of new outfits. They loved getting to look at everything. I'm not sure why Emilyn was sad at this point, I think she was hungry, and we were on our way to eat.

On our last day we went and visited Chunk's to say goodbye, and then we went to see Aunt Linda. It's still weird to go to Grandma Anne's house and not have her there. The girls had fun climbing the orange tree to pick some more oranges to bring home. They are so delicious!
Lucas enjoyed some time on the Princess bike at Grandma's while we packed the car!
On our way home we spent the night at Mike and Alison's. We went to the park and let off their rocket, to the delight of all of the kids. Lucas wanted to get right in there too!
