Happy Halloween

We had a really fun Halloween this year.  Everyone decided to meet up at our house this year instead of Grandma Barb's since the Mullen's weren't planning on coming, and Megan's kids would be with their dad for most of the night up north anyway.  Grandma Barb always rents a cotton candy machine, so when she brought it to our house to hand out, we were famous in the neighborhood!  I took the kids out trick or treating a few different times.  The first round was a quick one with the cousins before they left with their dad.  Then we went out again the other direction.  Then when my friend Ashly came over with her kids, they wanted to go out again with their friends.  So we went again with Cooper, Lillie, and Owen.  It was nice to have our house as a home base and come back to the family visiting and handing out cotton candy.  Megan found an adorable super baby costume for Kaylee, which was perfect because I didn't get one for her.  She looked so cute all dressed up.  She hung out with the family, bundled up outside, while I took the kids out, and Matt helped with the cotton candy.  She was happy with all the attention, and stayed warm and happy.

I made a bread spider for fun.  He turned out cute, but he was supposed to be the dip bowl for the night, but his legs were too fat to fit the dip in the middle!

All the little cousins together.  Again, Lucas wasn't interested in picture taking.  He had just woke up from a nap, and took a while to warm up.  By the time we went out trick or treating, he was happy and smiling again.

Our garage was quite the party scene!  There was dinner and snacks set up inside, and the cotton candy outside.  It was a pretty warm night, which was great too.

My mom found this amazing spider for us at the Halloween store.  It jumps out and shrieks at you with glowing eyes.  It is scary and surprising even when you expect it!  Matt set it up in the front by this sign he made to jump out at the passing trick or treaters.  He rigged it to a button back by the garage.  Uncle Mike spent a lot of time with that button!  The kids loved scaring their friends too!
