We got to spend Thanksgiving in California with my family. We flew out together and spent the first week visiting with family and friends. We really enjoyed getting to see Mike and Alison, and Jens and Matisyn played really well. We even got to take a ride on a little steam engine train. They were both in heaven. We also got to have a mini Christmas with my family, since we wouldn't be with them for the actual holiday. Matisyn caught on to the present opening very quickly!
The second week we were there Matt left on a business trip to Kentucky, and Matisyn and I got to spend some more time with Grandma and Uncle Chunk. One of the highlights was a live Elmo show. Our friends Jill and Kate treated us to the concert, and Matisyn lit up like she did at Disney on Ice. Merry Christmas to us!
