We finally moved Matisyn out of her crib and into a big girl bunkbed a couple weeks before she turned 3. We had a hard time because she hadn't climbed out for months and seemed content in it. She slept really well and waited patiently when she woke up for us to come get her. But, it was time to get baby sister's room ready and we wanted Matisyn to have some time to adjust before baby comes. Except for a little struggle with being ready to go to bed and getting out to play, she has for the most part done really great with the switch. She loves being a big girl and being able to get in and out on her own. She'll stay in her bed through the night so far, but she wakes up about two hours earlier than she did in her crib, no matter what time we put her in bed. She used to wake up at 8 or 9, and now she wakes up at 6 or 7 :( Bad for sleepy mom!
