We had to capture Baby Emilyn and her cute, little tongue loving the strawberry!
On Friday we we had a yummy "kid's favorites" dinner and an outdoor egg hunt in the dark with all the cousins at Grandpa and Grandma's. Our dinner was tater tots, little hot dogs, applesauce, berries, etc. All things that kids love! Sunday we had a delicious adult dinner with ham and prime rib, cheesy potatoes, salad, and bunny cake. The night time hunt was a success. There were so many eggs hidden you were stumbling over them to walk. The kids used flashlights to find their loot. There were so many eggs they had to start using adult's pockets and plastic bags to empty their baskets so that they had more room. It was very cold, it even started to snow, but that didn't stop any of the kids. Emilyn didn't even seem to mind. She just loved being in the middle of the action.

On Saturday between Conference sessions we colored Easter eggs. Matisyn couldn't wait, and kept asking to start all day. She even liked to eat the hard boiled eggs. She gets that from Daddy, definitely not from me!
I paid an extra 30 cents or so for this fancy kit that lets you paint your eggs instead of just dye them. So fancy!
Waiting for me to check for the Easter Bunny on Easter morning. Matisyn said she heard a bunny hop hopping downstairs in the middle of the night. Right below she is showing Daddy how bunnies hop. By the way the Easter Bunny has a little brother and a little sister that are just little, tiny bunnies according to Matisyn.

Matisyn and Mommy put a basket together for Daddy. The bunny doesn't always come for mommies or daddies.
Hunting her eggs from the Easter bunny. He had to hide them inside this year because we had a snow storm the night before, so outside was not an option! Bunny brought purple eggs full of puffs, and dried baby fruit for Ems, candy for Mads, and money for both to put in their piggy banks.
