I can hardly believe how fast the year has gone by with Matisyn in Kindergarten. She has loved her first school experience, making new friends, her teacher, learning to read, math facts, and recess, and she has grown up so much. Her report card was all 4's and her teacher comments were all positive. So with as much grief as she has given us with her energy and drama at home, she seems to be controlling it at school! We're so proud of her, and she is so excited to be a first grader! She told us that as of now, what she wants to be when she grows up, "is a doctor (maybe the animal kind), a chef, a ballerina, and a gymnastics teacher."
She graduated or "gradulated" as Emilyn calls it from Kindergarten last Wednesday, and Thursday was their last day of school. She was so excited to have us watch their end of year performance, and especially to have Daddy be able to come. It was a presentation of things they have learned from each letter of the alphabet and songs throughout. Matisyn had a speaking part, "M is for money, we know all our coins." She sang all the songs with her normal enthusiasm and added in some extra moves and actions like she is known to do!
