Our princess party was followed by an Easter party! Grandma put together an Easter egg hunt for all the kids with a crazy amount of eggs, to the kids delight! She also created bunny bucks. The kids were able to earn $1.00 of bunny bucks each time they did something kind or helpful. She then showed them a big basket of prizes that they could trade in for their bunny bucks. They were ecstatic, and had so much fun being good kids and earning bucks. It was great for Lucas because he was able to get some fun things like cars, since he isn't able to have any candy. Easter was a tough holiday for Lucas and his allergies. Their were a lot of tears when we kept taking away the candy he found. We finally cheated a little and let him have some smarties. They seemed to be the least of the evils, and we felt so bad for him that he couldn't have anything. Hopefully this won't be his Easter egg hunting fate forever! It was a great day!
