Happy 4th of July
Nobody seemed to be crushed that we missed the parade this year, and we spent the time swimming the day away. We swam the whole morning, ate lunch, and then had the kids come in and take a rest so they could make it through the rest of the day. Then it was time for more swimming and more eating. All the Clowards came over too, and it was a very full, happy pool! We watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks from the temple lawn, and for the first time ever, all the kids stayed awake to watch! I love this day with family and friends to celebrate this beautiful country we live in!

Love this Emi face! She is becoming such a great little swimmer. I am pretty confident with her swimming until she gets tired, and then she starts going under. She doesn't seem to notice because she loves the pool so much!

Dave and Becky brought an ice cream machine. The kids couldn't get enough of the self serve ice cream all day! Abby especially enjoyed it.
Just like most foods it seems, Lucas couldn't have any of the ice cream...but he could have the homemade root beer. He was in heaven! I lost track of how many cups he had by the end of the day.
Poor Becky has a broken foot, so she was in pain and moving slowly. At least she got a little pool time.

Aunt Megan found some chips that are actually like real chips that Lucas can have, and he was a big fan. He spent a long time at the table eating those chips.
That afternoon the pool filled up! It's so much fun to have everyone together.
Aunt Becky gave Emilyn some pretty braids, she loves having her hair done right now.
