Emilyn's thankful turkey for Kindergarten.  Each person in the family got to trace their hand and write five things they were thankful for, and make the hands into the feathers for the turkey.

My cute birthday present from Megan, dish towels with special pictures and handprints made by my kids.  It was such a fun idea!

Jungle Book Play

The girls are really enjoying being in another city arts play.  Emilyn was cast as a monkey, and Matisyn was cast as a bee.  Matisyn was disappointed at first until she realized that her part included being on stage for the majority of the play.  She got to sing all the songs, have a couple of lines, and have lots of stage time, so she was happy.  Emilyn got to come in and steal Mowgli the man cub off of the stage, and throw food at the tiger so she was pretty happy about her monkey part too!  I went to all three throws.  Matt, Lucas and I went together for opening night, Grandma Barb, Megan, and the kids joined us for Friday, and I went on my own on Saturday.  They LOVE to have people they know there to watch them, and I really love watching them perform.  Poor Matisyn had a very high fever on Saturday so she missed the last night of the play, but we were happy she was able to perform the first two nights.
