We finally took the trip down to see Legoland! Matisyn has been begging to go since she was five or six, and saw it on a cereal box. Marketing really works on her! We told the girls we would trade them both their birthday presents, and Matisyn was willing to trade for not having a birthday party as well, to be able to go on this trip. It worked out even better because my brother and sister in law live about 10 minutes away from the park. We were able to get a good visit in with them, and have some really fun family time with the Legos! Our kids turned out to be perfect ages to enjoy this trip. It is geared to kids ages 2-12, and our kids fit right in the middle. Matisyn was old enough to ride by herself, and Lucas was just big enough to be able to ride most things with one of us, and Emilyn needed one of us to ride with her as well. They all love legos, and were so excited about all of the creations. It was hard not to appreciate the amazing creativity, time, and effort put in to building so many Lego structures. Matt and I were just as entertained! We spent two days in the park, and were able to cover the main Lego park, the water park, and the aquarium.
