Matt's family has had quite a lot of changes recently. All at once it seemed that everyone needed to be moved. Matt's Grandpa passed away a few months ago, so Grandma Jo was moved to a retirement home. Then their house needed to be cleaned out, years worth of memories and possessions. Matt's brother Mike and his family moved out of their house and into the grandparents house. Then his sister Megan moved out of their house because her husband got a job in Washington state. Lots of moving, lots of change. Amongst all of this, our nephew KC got a concussion playing footfall, and after some time passed, it was discovered to be much worse than they thought. His vision is completely blurred and his memory has been affected. He's had to be taken out of school, and is pretty limited on what he can do. It's been a touch month for the family. We all got together for Halloween yesterday and it was nice to see that through everything, everyone is still in one piece and can have fun together.
Here are some pictures from one of the big moving days at the grandparents house. They had an estate sale for most of the furniture, books, decor, etc.
Emilyn headed over with Daddy early in the morning. She loved getting to ride in the front of the truck with her Daddy. She was so cute! Matisyn stayed with me to go to music class and we drove over later. Below is Grandpa Rex and Grandma Jo's house the day of the big sale. Lots of history in that front yard.
The girls have both taken to coloring lately. Matisyn has been more interested in sitting and making crafts, coloring, and creating with all different mediums she finds for much longer than she used to, and Emilyn loves to scribble and color.
Matisyn and I made pumpkin orange cupcakes together, she loves to bake.
