My nieces, Alexis, Kiersten, and Madilynn had a party along with their baptism for their eighth birthday. Becky did a scrapbooking party, and was nice enough to include Matisyn. Emilyn went down for a nap and her older boys listened for her, so I was able to help upstairs with the party. There were about 12 girls, and they needed a lot of assistance, but they went home with this amazing party favor, a scrapbook they made themselves with pictures and decorations of their best friends. I helped Matisyn with hers and it turned out so cute, she loves to look at it. She even did a lot of the gluing and arranging, and even some of the cutting.
Along with the cutting. . . SHE CUT HER HAIR AGAIN! In all fairness to her it really did appear to be an accident, but since this was time number 3, and the first 2 were not accidents, I was frustrated! She was just excited to be with all the big girls and to be cutting like a big girl, I was turned around helping someone else, and she apparently was opening and closing the scissors up in the air a little too close to her hair, and wasn't paying attention. She snipped a whole chunk out, and it was finally growing out and catching up with the other cuts she had made. Leave it to Matisyn! It is noticeable, but it blends pretty well, and could have been a lot worse.
