Santa Cruz
July 26-28
We had an amazing couple
of days in Santa Cruz staying at our favorite place, The Dream Inn. We
spent time at the Beach Boardwalk the first night and then spent the
whole next day at the pool and beach. The kids were in heaven getting
to do all their favorite things in one place. Thanks Grandma for some
more fun memories at one of my very favorite spots!
Emilyn
couldn't wait to go on the log ride with her Mommy! I love the view
from the top, and can't believe how much Emilyn loves the big, scary
drop!

Lucas
and I went on the trucks, which were a big hit. He was not happy about
the seat belt, but forgot about it once we started moving and horns
started honking!
Both girls loved the bumper cars. Emilyn was so proud that she was tall enough to ride them this time.
The
boardwalk was super busy, but luckily the end was a little less crazy
and it has most of the rides my girls are tall enough for anyway.
Man
this little guy is CUTE! He only went on one or two rides, but was
happy to just check things out and soak in the action for the rest of
the time.
The
girls remembered this car ride that whips you around on both ends from
last time. It did not disappoint, they loved it as much this time too!
We can't get enough of this pool overlooking the ocean, wharf, and boardwalk!
Pool, beach, pool, beach, pool, is pretty much how our day went!
This is one of my favorites, an action sand shot of Lucas! This kid loves the sand!
Even though the water was cold, the girls had a great time playing in the surf, and letting the waves chase them.

We could definitely get used to a little room service! We had breakfast in our room because it was easier with the kids. Below Lucas is using Grandma's suitcase to sneak up to the table and get into food he isn't supposed to have. He paid for those bites of oatmeal later! Poor little guy!
