Merry Christmas!
We had such a nice, relaxing Christmas day. We missed being with family, but enjoyed our own little one, and the slow pace of the day. We stayed in our pajamas and slowly opened presents. The kids got to play with things as we opened, and we took a break after Santa presents to have breakfast. We were also happy about our white Christmas. The kids got all bundled up and played outside for a little while. Lucas worked on shoveling, Emilyn built a snowman, and Matisyn built an igloo! We had ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, and green beans for dinner, and watched Home Alone 2. We are grateful for this time of year, and for this special day to reflect on what is important. We're grateful for our Savior and for our health, family, and friends. It was a nice day together with our little family.

Santa brought the girls boogie board writing toys, and Lucas a lawn mower. Their stockings were filled with lots of fun things too.

Lucas got right into the spirit and started using tools to open his lawn mower.
Santa splurged and let Lucas have a whole chocolate Santa to himself this year. He was ecstatic, and ate the whole thing. We were ready with the Benadryl, but luckily their was no allergic reaction!
All three got new robes from Mom and Dad, they have been well loved.
Books were a big part of the presents from us this year. All three kids got lots of books.

New wiggle car for Lucas and electric scooters for the girls! The snow made it so they couldn't try them out yet!
Lucas does not like to wear gloves, but his hands get cold so fast, and then he is sad. It is a constant battle of convincing him to wear the gloves!
