It's 2015!!!

 Lucas and Matisyn went crazy with the bubbles.  Lucas was having a blast until he realized he couldn't get the bubbles off of him when he wanted.  That's why he is sad in the last picture.  Lots of fun until then though!

 My friends were showing me pictures off this Instagram site called "kids are the worst."  It shows pictures of kids doing crazy, messy things.  I just kept seeing my own life flash before my eyes!  Matisyn takes the cake, but Lucas is trying to do some damage along the way as well.  This is the fourth time he has dumped out an entire bottle of beta fish food all over the counter, floor, and inside the tank trying to feed bubbles the fish.

 He is just so cute though!

 Emilyn's writing is really taking off!  I can't believe how much she can write these days.

 After a little riding, Lucas decided his bike needed some fixing.  He got some of his dad's tools from the garage to do some work on it!

 We put the girls beds back into bunk beds so they would have some more space in their room, and we moved up their big girl American girl doll stuff.  One night we found them looking pretty cute snuggling all together on the bottom bunk.

 Helping Daddy finish up the baseboard around the bar in the kitchen.  He LOVES to help his Daddy!  Especially if there are tools or loud machines involved!

 Lucas taking a little rest and playing peek a boo with his blankets on the stairs.  Lately he has been stealing his sisters little mini minky blankets and calling them his own.

 Matisyn has been a super gymnast the last few years.  She is in level 3 gymnastics, and doing great.  Lately though we have been noticing her not wanting to go, and not trying very hard when she gets there.  After talking it over we decided to have her take a break.  So far she hasn't missed it.  We'll see if she ends up wanting to go back, or try something else.  We might try out tumbling instead of gymnastics because we heard from the coaches it is a little less intense and technique driven.  I've always thought gymnastics would be Matisyn's thing so I'm a little sad with her leaving it, but maybe sometime she'll come back!

 Matisyn New Year's Resolutions- 3rd grade

 We found ice cream cones at the health food store that Lucas can have, and we also discovered that except for the milk which he seems to do ok with in small doses, he can have Breyer's chocolate ice cream.  Chocolate ice cream cones are his very favorite new treat!

Matt and the girls have really enjoyed a membership to a new boulder climbing gym by our house.  It has been a fun incentive for them to be good and get their homework done so they can go with Matt when he gets home from work.  They have really improved and learned a lot in a short time, plus it gets their winter energy out!
