Emilyn's Art Birthday Party

We celebrated Emilyn's 6th birthday with a color/art party with her friends.  We had so much fun putting it all together.

 Emilyn requested a chocolate cake, and I made a rainbow with M & M's

 All the girls got a different colored apron, paint brush, and their own canvas painting to take home.

 We started out at an art table as the girls arrived.  They made a lot of different creations while we waited for everyone to get there.

 Grandma Karen arrived right before the party started.  She was in charge of keeping Lucas out of trouble!  It was fun to have her there this year!

 Lucas was in on the creating too!

 Next we split up into two groups and played an M & M dice rainbow game and Twister.

 The girls were such great artists!  They penciled in their ideas and then painted on their canvases.

Emilyn loved opening presents!  She got some really great presents.

 It was fun to watch Emilyn "read" her birthday cards all by herself.  She was so proud to be able to know what they say on her own!
