On Sunday we had a family party for Matisyn's birthday. She had two parties before she even turned five the following Monday! We had a calzone bar and salad bar, which turned out delicious, but made it so everyone had to eat at different times. I wish we had a couple extra ovens! I made her a castle cake, which turned out pretty cute, and she opened some very fun presents from Grandma Barb and Papa and her Aunts and Uncles. Matisyn loves her triplet cousins so she was just happy to run around and play with them the whole time, as well as receive attention and hugs from everybody else. It was a really nice time. Thanks family for making Matisyn feel so special!

Ariel, from Grandma and Papa, which was a great choice, because it's one of the few princess barbies she doesn't have, at least not in non-mermaid form!, and it's one of her favorites!
Is it my turn yet? Emilyn actually did very well with letting Matisyn have all the gifts and glory. She'll be ready for her birthday though!
A magical box filled with five different princess hats from Grandma Barb and Papa. There was this princess wizard hat, a gorgeous tiara, two circle ribbon head pieces, and a pink bow wrap. Perfect for a princess with a large imagination who loves to dress up and look beautiful. She was so excited about all of them.
Musical instruments from Grandma and Papa. Matisyn, Emilyn, her cousins, and all her friends that have so far been over to play have LOVED this new addition. The verdict is still out for Mom and Dad! We decided to make it a downstairs toy which has made it more fun for everyone!
I love Daddy pajamas, she wore these three nights in a row after she got them!
Baking presents from Aunt Becky, Uncle Dave, CJ, KC, and the girls. We're really excited about the recipe book and mixes Aunt Becky put together to use with our Easy Bake Oven. It was a lot of work, but we will appreciate all the yummy rewards, and we have so many new ideas to try now!
