Home from Hospital 10/10-10/14

 3 days old

 2 days old, just home from hospital

 Getting strapped in for his first doctor's visit, three days old.  He doesn't love his car seat, but it puts him right to sleep, and then he doesn't mind much!

 Mike, Wendy and Cassidy came over to meet Lucas for the first time, 5 days old.

 Matisyn was excited to show Uncle Mike her special things Grandma Karen got her when they went to the Dinosaur museum.  A panning for gold kit was one of her favorites.

 

This sign by Matisyn cracked us up. Instead of wiping up the peanut butter, she went through the effort of writing this sign so nobody would sit on it!

 Matisyn is studying leaves at school, so her and Matt did some leaf rubbings together.

SEP personal report card for 1st grade Matisyn.  Her answers were interesting to us, she's able to do much more than she thinks, and we're so proud of her.  After a rocky beginning trying to get adjusted to a new classroom and all day school, she had a wonderful report from her teacher, and has since been doing an amazing job. The things she said she thinks about school at the bottom of the page were her teacher's disco ball and free Fridays!
