 Emilyn and Twilight Sparkle Pony invited Emilyn's friends to her My Little Pony party.  It was pretty easy to decide what kind of party to give her because she is in love with all things pony.  She spends hours playing with her ponies and acting out wild scenarios and setting them up in scenes with the princesses and barbies.  She will watch the My Little Pony shows for as long as we'll let her.

She woke up to the house being decorated with My Little Pony decorations.  She was so excited to see ponies hanging from the ceiling.  She ran around as fast as Rainbow Dash Pony, checking everything out.  She had pancakes with whip cream and a candle for breakfast.  Lucas watched all the birthday action from his exersaucer.

Matt made a vinyl Twilight Sparkle for the window.  Both girls were pretty excited when they saw that.

Waiting for the friends to arrive to get the party started.  Emilyn asked if we could start the party now, all day long.  It was good to have her go to preschool for a few hours before the party started, so she was distracted and I could get ready.

There were nine girls at the party.  Lydia and Gigi were sick, and Khloe decided she wanted to stay with her mommy.  As the girls arrived they chose a pony picture to color as we waited for everyone to come.  Matisyn gave them their pink pony necklace as they came in.  She loved getting to be the big sister helper.

First we played pin the cutie mark on Pinkie Pie.

Next we had a fashion show.  I pretended to be Rarity, a fashion designer pony, and got them all ready.  They got to choose their outfits from our dress up clothes and then take turns walking the runway and showing off their designs.  It was so cute to see their little personalities showing through.

Matisyn wanted to be the next to demonstrate how it is done.  It was her idea to use the yoga mat for our runway.  Did I mention how proud she was to be a helper?!!

All dressed up and ready for our dance party!  They were great little dancers.

I love having my kids open one present at a time, sitting with the friend it is from, because I can get a good picture with each friend.  Here is the present opening:

 We had a little time at the end so I put on a My Little Pony show and pulled out all of Emilyn's ponies for the girls to play with.  Notice all the girls playing in the middle and Emilyn watching the T.V.!

 After the party we gave Emilyn her big present from us, a new big girl bike.  We got it in her favorite color, red, which lucky for us can eventually be Lucas's bike too.  It doesn't even come with training wheels.  We're hoping that because she is so good on her balance bike, she'll be able to transition easily to this kind of bike.

 Matisyn made a sign for the door to welcome Emilyn's friends to the party.  On the left it says "Emilyn's Pony Palace" and then below it it says "contract" with a hoof which Matisyn says means they are leaving their print to say they contract to come to the party!

 Emilyn tried out her new bike for just a few minutes.  It made her a little nervous, and she wasn't sure what to do with the pedals.  It was cold outside and she was exhausted from her big day, so I'm hoping she will be able to catch on quickly the next time she rides.

 Even though she was a little nervous, you can tell how proud she is to have a big girl bike like this.

 After dinner she got to open the rest of her presents from us.  She got a giant farm puzzle (she loves doing puzzles), a Brave barbie, the Brave characters, and dress up fancy shoes.  She was a happy, tired girl by the end of the day!  I can't believe she is actually 4!
