We woke up bright and early like usual with Lucas as our alarm clock. Matt took Emilyn and Lucas on a hotel adventure while Matisyn slept in and I got some serious packing done. We had a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel on our last morning. Lucas made it exciting by dumping his Rice Krispies on the floor and causing a chaos for the cleaning staff. Then we walked around and said goodbye to our home for the week. On the way to the airport we stopped in Lahaina and got one more shaved ice and stopped for a few more things at the ABC store. It was sad to say goodbye! We all were needing a trip for different reasons, and it was such a wonderful escape from the day to day demands. It was so nice to just enjoy each other, and worry only about what adventure we would have that day!

We landed in California late on Thursday night. We stayed at Grandma's for a couple of nights to regroup, and drove home on Saturday. This was the snowy pass for our drive. Welcome home!
