Emilyn's Fall Soccer

Emilyn LOVED her first season of soccer.  She couldn't wait to start playing.  She had games on Wednesdays and Saturdays and practices on Thursdays.  The best part was that her Daddy was her coach!  I kind of volunteered Matt, but it turned out to be a great experience for both of them.  Emi loved having him there, and he was an amazingly patient coach for these little girls.   Emilyn scored a goal in the first game, and a few more throughout, but the best part was her smile from ear to ear as she ran around the field.  She always looked so happy to be there.  We were so proud of her great attitude and of all the things she learned!  You really can't get better entertainment than a Kindergarten soccer game!

Lucas became very comfortable with soccer games over the last month, since he spent four days a week at soccer activities!  His favorite part was at Matisyn's field where they were doing some work, so there were TRACTORS!  It took me a half an hour to move from this spot.  Every time we started walking he would turn around and go back!  At Emilyn's field he got very comfortable taking off when I was distracted helping Matt with subbing the girls for the game, and heading all the way over to the park by himself.  I did a lot of chasing during those games!
