Emilyn got this birdhouse for her birthday. She finished painting it with Matisyn this week. I was proud that I put it together by myself since Matt was gone! Lucas was excited to help use tools!

Grandma Karen got the girls these cute dome globes to create a while back. The girls spent an afternoon putting them together. Emilyn made the bear, and Matisyn made the duck with ducklings and the tractor dozer for Lucas.

Lucas hardly ever colors at nursery, he just runs around instead. I was so excited when he actually scribbled on his picture I had to take a picture of it!

We fit in another privilege stick activity during the playdate, and the kids went crazy with shaving cream!

Matt came home from his trip to a dying lawn. We figured out the end of the sprinkler line in the front was busted from the tree roots, so the whole front yard wasn't getting very much water. Matt is in love with his trees, so cutting one down was not an option. He had to dig a bunch of holes, and then miraculously found the right place where the pipe was broken. He was able to fix it and we magically have working sprinklers again. One of the nights he was working some of the neighbors came over. The house across the street was doing fireworks so Matisyn set up chairs for herself and some of the other kids to watch. She was pretty excited about her luck!

Emilyn came into my bed almost every night that Matt was gone. She loves being in with her Mommy!

I started my once a week OB appointments. Only four weeks to go until baby girl. Since I am older this pregnancy they are doing an ultrasound to check my amniotic fluid and a non stress test to monitor her heart rate each week. It's nice to have reassurance that she is doing well each week, and it fun to hear her heart beat!

When Matt got home from his trip we visited the Thanksgiving Point Gardens as a family. We were so happy to have him home. It was a Monday night so there were activities going on around the gardens. The girls had fun making puppets. Lucas loved exploring the rocks around the waterfalls. He thought there were dinosaurs hiding in the caves!

After the gardens we went for snowies! Lucas is a big fan, and it's so nice to have a treat that the whole family can enjoy together. His allergies don't seem to be bothered by them.

One of the things the girls really wanted to do this summer was The Jungle. Matisyn got a coupon from school and she saw the picture and wanted to try it out. The kids had fun climbing around, and were exhausted before the hour even ended!
