We loved having visitors! My mom brought the kids in to meet their baby sister for the first time that afternoon. They were so precious with her, and were over the moon excited to meet her. I was expecting that from the girls, and they didn't disappoint! I wasn't sure what to expect from Lucas. It turns out he was just as happy to see her. He wasn't sure about the situation, but he lit up when we let him hold her. He kept talking about her and petting her. The girls made us all these pictures and notes that were adorable too. It was a pretty good visit, and didn't even make me too panicked about having four! My mom had to leave pretty soon after I had her to relieve Ashly at our house, so she got to hold baby girl for the first time at this visit too. We are all super in love with our new baby!
Mike, Wendy, Kenzie, and Cass all came to visit later that day, and my friends, Ashly, Kelly, Amy, and Amber came to visit that night. I think Matt enjoyed the girl talk a great deal! Matt went into work for a little while the next day, and so it was nice to have my friends Cora and Amanda come to see us the following day. We're grateful for great family and friends!
