Pre-4th of July Festivities/Grandma Barb's Birthday
The 4th of July is always a big holiday for us, and the festivities stretch out for days! We started on the 3rd at the Mullen's to watch CJ be ordained as an elder. Then we headed over to the house to start swimming and have dinner. We also celebrated Grandma Barb's birthday with her favorite, strawberry pie for dessert...she is still 39! I slept inside with baby Lucas, and Matt slept outside with the girls and everyone else for our annual camp out. It is a fun tradition, but it does start the holiday out with everyone being exhausted! We're thinking maybe we should change the date for next year. I think my girls finally fell asleep somewhere around 12:30 a.m. and we got up early for the parade the next morning. They were so excited to be sleeping outside with Grandma and their cousins though.
