We are back to rain and cold weather this week, but we had a few days in there that felt like Spring. The girls loved being able to play so much outside, and hopefully that means good things for the summer. It seemed like we had friends over all the time the first week of May enjoying the weather.
Matt decided that it was time for Matisyn to try her big girl bike without training wheels. I wasn't so sure, and either was Matisyn, but she went for it. She actually did really well once she stopped thinking so much about it. She can't take off on her own, the bike is still a little big for her, and she doesn't have enough confidence with it yet, but once she was going she could ride all by herself. It kind of surprised me how big she is getting. I was so proud of her trying something like that and being so brave. Emilyn could not be left behind, of course, so she followed on her plasma car.
