Rules for Life from 5 year old Matisyn:

1. Red sparkle shoes go with EVERYTHING!
2. Ants should be fed and cared for by humans.
3. Unicorns, fairies, characters, and princesses are REAL.
4. When you are bleeding it is called, "blowing blood," and it is tramatic.
5. Long hair and pretty dresses make you a princess.
6. Friends should be available to play at all hours of everyday.
7. Bedtimes and sleeping are just optional.
8. Make-up is fantastic, especially lip gloss.
9. Treats are a main food group, and should be consumed for all three meals, as well as snacks.
10. You are so big when you are 10, but you are big enough to get married at 16.
11. Performing and being in the spotlight should be a life requirement.
12. Being able to talk exactly like each member of Scooby Doo's mystery gang IS a special talent.
13. It is perfectly normal to freak out if the temperature is slightly hot or slightly cold.  Mommy and Daddy should make perfect temperatures appear for each specific activity and day.
14. Snowies should be sold all year round.
15. Emilyn should not be allowed to say things like, "Sissy, broke it," or place blame in any way upon her sister.
16. The world should be run around her time schedule.  If she doesn't feel like going yet, they should wait to start until she does.

Matisyn loves swimming (and she is still a little fish), playing in the water, playing at the park, jewelry, sparkles, PINK, snuggling with Mommy, working with Daddy, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, dancing, dirt stew, swings, singing, animals, Trafalga, rock climbing, laser tag, braids, helping Mommy, watermelon, watching shows, riding bikes, doing art projects, posing for pictures, parties, dressing up, and Scooby Doo.
