Camping Trial Lake
July 12-14

We spent two nights camping with our best friends in the Uinta's. We've kind of made a camping trip each summer a tradition.  The Helquist's were in town and were able to come too, with the Barrett's and Thygerson's.  The Thygerson's went up early and got us great camping sites all together in a ring.  The kids were able to run around and had a huge area to explore.  We spent time visiting, fishing, boating, etc., and had lots of great food.

 Right out of the car they were off exploring.  I found them behind this big rock.  I love all the poses!

 We have ten kids all together now.  Here they are all in a row, Emilyn, Sylvie, Brody, Matisyn, Jens, Jack, Logan, Jamison, and Emma (Olivia is missing, I'm not sure where she was in this picture).

 I loved waking up to this view, these two are so cute!  Matt was seriously wishing Emilyn wanted to sleep longer in her own bed, and longer period though!

 Emma was followed the whole trip by these two little ones.  Emilyn and Sylvie wanted Emma to do everything with them and she was a great sport.  They loved going out in the raft.

 Matisyn spent a lot of time playing on the rocks and trying to catch the tiny fish swimming by, she was disappointed that she never caught one (with her hands)!

 Matt and Blake spent most of their time fishing, and Jens loved every minute of it.  The girls weren't interested this trip, so Matt was able to help Jens catch his own fish.

 Emilyn found a big rock at the top of the hill to perform on.  She didn't want anyone else to steal her spotlight, and she sung songs at the top of her lungs.

 Emilyn spent lots of time in camp riding a scooter around in our circle.  We didn't even know she was ready for one.  We ended up buying her one when we got home and she has spent lots of time on it since then.

I love this shot, and not just because of the cute, plumber crack!

We had a great trip, even though it ended with pouring rain while we packed and then a car with a dead battery!  Luckily our friends didn't leave us and we were able to jump start it and be on our way.  Everyone was pretty wet!
