At the beginning of August Matisyn started her first season of outdoor soccer. She played a little season indoors last year. She enjoyed it, but often asked to come out of the game so she could socialize on the sidelines! We have been amazed at the change so far this season. She still loves to socialize on the sidelines... but she seems to really be enjoying playing, and gets right in where the ball is. She is still learning the game, and working on coordination, etc., but she is much more aggressive and interested playing. It's been fun to watch her, both at her Tuesday night games and Wednesday night practices. I hope she keeps it up. One of the best parts for her is that the team is made up of all her friends from the neighborhood.
