Fall and the Leaves

Fall is officially here for us when leaves are on the ground.  Both girls loved playing in the leaves together.  Matisyn even worked on raking them up, just so she could jump in them.  We spent a morning and an evening working in the front yard trying to get things ready for winter.  That evening the raking turned into a leaf fight with the neighbor girls.  We also managed to get Christmas lights up early this year, before we left for Thanksgiving and the snow started to fall.  Emilyn also loved jumping in the piles, but she found Daddy shaking the branches and the leaves falling all around her absolutely hilarious.

 My little pretend girl, she has her backpack on because she's out riding to pretend school, or saving her family, or having a picnic with Chutchy, I can't remember which!

The sunset was beautiful on this particular evening.  It was fun to play outside and watch the sun go down.
