The balloons are one of our favorite Fourth of July traditions. The girls love them every year. Some might say two year olds aren't old enough to appreciate them, but Emilyn LOVED every minute of them. She still talks about them and says things like, "mommy, I see balloons, so hot, fire, I scared mommy, so pretty," and on and on. I still remember Matisyn at the same age wearing the same outfit and pointing and jumping with excitement the same way Emilyn did. Mike, Wendy, Kenz and Cass met us there. The best part was we were there on time to see every single balloon fill up (Matisyn's favorite part), and there wasn't too much wind for them all to take off. It's so beautiful to watch them all float up together.
