Things: Animals, blankets-Fly and Pink Polka-dot, playing with
friends, Lion King, Tangled, and all three Toy Stories, snuggling,
trampoline, swimming, princesses, yogurt, following big sister, music
(always asking us to put on a song, and turn it up!), treats, and dancing
Least
Favorite Things: Being told "no", having to sit still, tall grasses
and crunchy leaves (she thinks snakes are hiding inside)
2011 Highlights: Going to Disneyland (she asks almost daily to go again still), church nursery with Mommy, counting to 13, special time with Mommy when Matisyn was at school, building towers with Daddy, visiting grandmas
Hopes
for 2012: Start preschool, go in the big girl potty, get bigger so she
can "dance, go to school, ride the bus, and get a phone"
Matisyn
Favorite
Things: Singing and dancing, dirt stew, visiting family and friends in
California, tacos, kitties, reading, primary, i-pad, cousins, playing with friends,
pink, Zoobles, barbies, treats, McDonalds, Scooby Doo, solving mysteries,
shows, hiking, and swimming
Least Favorite Things: Being cold and being quiet
2011
Highlights: Learning to ride a two-wheeler bike, camping, catching
crawdads with Dad, two dance recitals, starting Kindergarten, trip to
Disneyland, spending a week with Grandma Karen when Mom and Dad were in
Hawaii, preschool graduation, and learning to read
Hopes for 2012: Take gymnastics, eat lunch at school, and lose a tooth so the tooth fairy can come

Things: Traveling, girl nights out, watching my little girls get
along, chocolate, organizing, snuggling with my girls, reading, DVR, pictures,
friends and family
Least Favorite Things: Matt's new motorcycle, chaos and messes, dirty laundry
2011
Highlights: Starting meal exchange with friends, vacations (Hawaii
with Matt for our 10th anniversary, California to see family and
friends, 1st camping trip with my family to Zion, trip to St George with friends, Disneyland with
friends), finally losing baby weight, hearing all positive reports from Matisyn's Kindergarten teacher, organizing all the closets in the
house, watching Matisyn learn to read and Emilyn's vocabulary grow so fast
Hopes
for 2012: Learning to appreciate the chaos, remodel the kitchen, more
date nights out with Matt, and most importantly, health and happiness
for my family and friends
Matt
Favorite Things: His girls, putting around on his new motorcycle (dirt bike), Dr. Pepper, sushi, reading, sleep (when he can get it!), camping and being outdoors
Least Favorite: Working instead of playing (curse growing up!), getting older and it's side effects!, Dad's bad liver
2011 Highlights: Hawaii, Zion both with family and trip with Scouts, getting wife to give in on motorcycle, starting own vinyl business (Bliss Signs with brother Mike), teaching Matisyn to ride a bike without training wheels
Hopes for 2012: Backpacking trip, participate in triathlon and get in shape, healthy liver for Dad
Least Favorite: Working instead of playing (curse growing up!), getting older and it's side effects!, Dad's bad liver
